No cheaper MacBook Air. Based on the announcements at WWDC '18, that definitely seems to be the case.

If there could be a show stopper product at the WWDC 2018, it will have to be the iOS 12.

For more on the all-new macOS Mojave, coming later this month as a public beta, visit Apple. And then the company stuck to the script it had prepared. Apple CEO Tim Cook already set his foot down on that matter. But according to Apple there are big improvements under the hood.

Apple dropped the hammer against 32-bit apps with the release of iOS 11 by supporting only 64-bit apps and devices.

We will continue updating this post as and when we come across new features in macOS Mojave. This is in stark contrast to Microsoft's new approach with Windows 10, making the OS available on different devices and providing developers with a Universal Windows Platform (UWP) framework.

Apple would clearly like its new mobile operating system to take augmented reality mainstream. That is a good news for people.

This app will also allow users to customize action with detailed information. Incoming notifications from the same source will now be grouped together for easier management.

The new Bedtime mode goes one step further, preventing notifcations from displaying on the lock screen and dimming the display until morning. So while others may move in that direction, Apple isn't any time soon. Similarly, there are videos that autoplay to give dynamic app previews to users.

Switching your Mac's theme from an overall white theme to something dark and gray is now possible thanks to Dark Mode. Apple seems to be done with mountain ranges and is now focusing on other attractive landscapes across California, such as the desert, and hence the code-name, Mojave.

- The top feature of the Mojave is likely to be its focus on privacy. Safari will also include new protections against "Fingerprinting", in which websites track users based on attributes such as system configuration, fonts, and plug-ins. This is much needed, although companies like Facebook and Google won't like it.

Users will also have the ability to combine the shortcuts with third-party devices, such as a Tile, and it will be able to locate lost items with its own personalised trigger phrase. Also Animoji is getting four new characters: Ghost, T-rex, koala and tiger. There's also native podcast and background audio support.

- Siri gets a new feature called Shortcuts, which should make it smarter.

And speaking of the Finder, that new Gallery View is pleasant enough.

- Apple TV 4K now supports Dolby Atmos audio. Now Apple is bringing that functionality to its App Store. This year in March, Apple also launched its educational iPad.

Apple first debuted the Mac App Store in 2011 but has given it very little love since then.
