Company ethics officers issued statements after the association was reported that it didn't violate reward guidelines as a result of the association was market worth, however Apol factors out within the letter that these statements had been issued exclusively after the association grew to become public and that further data "calls into query" the place these findings are nonetheless legitimate.

Lately there have been many reports of the lack of ethics that Scott Pruitt, the head of our Environmental Protection Agency, has shown.

David Apol, the acting director of the Office of Government Ethics, contacted the EPA's chief ethics official, Kevin Minoli, and called for him to examine Pruitt's rental of a Capitol Hill condo for $50 a night from a lobbyist, his preference for first-class travel, his frequent trips to his home in Oklahoma and his treatment of the agency's staffers.

Taxpayers have paid more to protect Pruitt than past EPA chiefs but those expenses are justified since Pruitt has been under threat, Trump wrote.

Pruitt has done a fantastic job of convincing people that his agency should be renamed the Industrial Protection Agency - by defanging, delaying or deleting regulations, thus allowing companies to put more pollutants in our air and water and harm the environment and people's health. 'I like Scott. He's done a good job from my point of view, as being EPA administrator but.

But his support among GOP lawmakers is not rock-solid.

Sen. Susan Collins of ME was the lone Republican to vote against Pruitt's nomination. Stop leading with your chin.

Mr. Pruitt had complained that his 19 full time body guards and 19 armored vehicles dedicated exclusively to protect him in his risky job were inadequate and insufficient for the threat vectors in the Oklahoma-Washington DC environment.

Almost three dozen EPA security and law enforcement agents were assigned to Pruitt, according to a summary of six weeks of weekly schedules obtained by Democratic Sen.

Now that Congress is back in Washington D.C. after a two-week Easter recess, there will be more political topics to take up cable television time than the Pruitt "covfefe."* This means that Pruitt has time to regroup, lick his wounds and prepare for new battles.

Reps. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Fla., and Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., have also called for his resignation.

Meanwhile, Democrats were calling for Pruitt to resign. But in the waning days of his administration, Obama prematurely locked in long-term decisions regarding pollution standards that violated the spirit of an agreement between the federal government and USA automakers, putting domestic automakers at a likely disadvantage to foreign competition. Under Pruitt's first year, the EPA took in $30 million in penalties against polluters, versus $81 million in Obama's first year and $70 million during George W. Bush's first year. "Similarly, if a violation or misconduct is found, your agency should ensure that processes are in place to prevent similar occurrences in the future".

The agency declined to immediately comment Monday night, and Dravis could not be reached for comment.
