The new iPhone X-only lenses will appear at the front of your row of lenses. The first three lenses are the new Truedepth ones.

It has just rolled out three new filters including the Warrior's mask, a tiara and an "ornate, bejewelled" face mask. As per the claims made by Snapchat, the lenses will help to reflect the surrounding light in a more realistic manner.

With the camera screen facing toward you, tap on your face. In this case, the filters are for your face. If you remember, at the phone's launch event a year ago, Apple teased iPhone X-exclusive AR Snapchat Lenses. The depth gathers the data which allows these masks to be more precise and adhere a subject's face.

Apple's most developed biometric security solution, TrueDepth and Face ID are anticipated to make their way into other product lines in the coming months, with the latest rumors advising iPad Pro is next in line to have an upgrade. This new lenses will encourage more iPhone X users to make use of the Snapchat environment and this way they will be able to use the Snapchat's platform for more time. I would guess this means that Snap can't store information about the expressions you make with these lenses or use them to target you with ads, although I can imagine companies will want to take advantage of the technology to brand these lenses eventually.

This lens puts slaps a bejeweled mask encrusted with diamonds on your face and a flower crown on your head. Correspondingly, over 180 million global people use Snapchat every day to chat, play, share and capture some pictures, too. Since, TrueDepth technology is limited to iPhone X only, the feature is exclusive for the owners of this smartphone. Apple teased them last September during its iPhone event, and now, Snapchat is making them available, via an update to the iOS app. However, no one, not even Apple's employees have access to the mathematical data obtained by the camera.
