'Fortnite' vending machines should help to level the Battle Royale playing field

  • Fortnite Is Out Now On Mobile And It Changes Everything

Considering the frantic and sometimes fast-moving games of Battle Royale, finding a vending machine can be a pain. It's well worth knowing where the vending machines are located, as they allow players to trade in materials for weapons, which can give a big advantage if you find the right machine.

The weapons won't be free, however; depending on what you get, you'll have to pay in materials. There's a random chance of a gnome spawning in a gap in the brick wall, so all you need to do is keep building those walls until they finally show up.

Each vending machine will be found in various locations around the map.

You can use the map below to find the Battle Star, but what you're essentially doing is going to the Maze in Wailing Woods and looking for a large tree.

With the 3.4 content update's release, the Vending Machines would be scattered across the island in Battle Royale. This is especially true close to the item's launch, where many curious players will be hunting down vending machines just to get a look at them.

In return for swapping your materials, you can items that vary in rarity.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and iOS.

Each material type- wood, metal, and stone- would have a corresponding item that it could be exchanged for.

Items found in an Uncommon (green) version will cost 200 materials. These include new weapons such as an Easter egg launcher, and vending machines that dispense weapons when they're used.

Fortnite is generous with its loot, but you don't always find all the weapons you need when you land.

But unfortunately, Epic Games don't just plonk it in the same place every game.
