Chrissy Teigen has a guess as to which actress "on drugs" bit Beyonce on the face. Someone criticized her, and she replied, "you'll never understand the simple reason of 'because I don't want to'".

Well, Chrissy weighed in on Twitter. "The update, the constant complaints of people not being able to find me, plus the Rihanna poll.no Bueno", Teigen tweeted. The ad, which gave users the option to slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown, was widely criticised for making light of domestic violence.

Earlier this month, Snapchat drew the ire of many of Rihanna's fans when it posted an ad for the game "Would You Rather". Many users, who were already upset with the company's latest update, felt that the insensitive Rihanna ad was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Rihanna didn't mince words in her Instagram response.

On Saturday, the former model announced why she left Snapchat, swiftly taking down the app in a single tweet. "I'd love to call it ignorance, but I know you ain't that dumb!" she wrote on Instagram Stories. "This isn't about my personal feelings, cause I don't have much of them...but all the women, children, and men that have been victims of DV in the past and especially the ones who haven't made it out yet...you let us know! Shame on you. Throw the whole app-oligy away", she added.

Soon after, many Snapchat users declared that they were going to delete their accounts.

According to CNN, Snapchat lost $800 million in stock market value after being called out by the pop star.

Jenner, who is one of the most popular Snapchat users, also had a similar negative effect on the social media stock price after she wrote on Twitter: "does anyone else not open Snapchat anymore?"

It's now unclear what kind of share market chaos Teigen's tweet could wreak on the app, considering her very different positioning to Jenner and Rihanna in pop culture. Only time will tell.
