Real Madrid and Barcelona have inevitably been linked with Salah, and Arsenal legend Ian Wright suggested that any concrete interest will spell bad news for Liverpool.

The Egypt global has been in sensational form since signing for the Merseyside outfit from AS Roma in the summer transfer window a year ago. Real Madrid and Barcelona, who could be prepared to pay big money, will surely want to see another year from Salah.

However, the player himself has now poured cold water on reports that he could leave Anfield and insists that he wants to stay at the club and help them fight for the title. "Even though I imagine he is already on incredible wages I would bump that up even more just to make him even happier".

According to The Mirror, Liverpool are confident of securing the signature of Napoli midfielder Jorginho ahead of bitter rivals Manchester United this summer.

Salah will then return to Liverpool when the Reds take on Crystal Palace on March 31, looking to continue his assault on the record books... and delivering free minutes for many. "I want to win it with this club".

Yet German journalist Raphael Honigstein has claimed Salah was not Klopp's top Liverpool target back in the summer.

It's getting towards that time of the season where clubs are looking ahead at their summer transfer plans, and despite the World Cup in Russian Federation, there will be plenty of big money deals going ahead.
