  • United's Most Recent PR Disaster Required a $90000 Make-Good to One Family

A United flight from Newark, New Jersey, to St. Louis was diverted Thursday after the airline learned it had an unauthorised passenger onboard: a dog.

She confirmed that the human passengers were provided compensation for the inconvenience, but would not say how many there were. This was a four-hour journey, with roughly an hour and a half spent on the ground in Akron after diverting near Columbus, he said.

And in a third incident, a United flight from Newark to St. Louis was diverted to OH because a dog was mistakenly put on board.

This is United's second animal-related incident in less than a week. The airline paid for the family to stay at an airport near the hotel Tuesday. "United Airlines does not care about the safety of their furry travellers".

A United Airlines flight was re-routed after the USA airline discovered it had mistakenly brought a dog onboard.

A 10-year-old German shepherd named Irgo, who was meant to fly from OR to Kansas to join his family in their new home, was mistakenly flown to Japan after being placed in the wrong kennel.

Kara Swindle and her two children had taken the United flight from OR to Kansas City, Missouri, during a move to Wichita, Kansas.

Fellow passenger Maggie Gremminger said that "The flight attendant was asking her to move it, continuing that request even though the passenger was mentioning it was a dog", and that they heard barking when the plane took off.

"An error occurred during connections in Denver for two pets sent to the wrong destinations".

The company appears especially challenged by pet incidents.

It comes after a puppy died while flying on a United Airlines flight last week.
