Brendan Rodgers says the Scottish Premiership title race is not over despite 10-man Celtic securing a dramatic 3-2 victory over Rangers at Ibrox.

"I couldn't believe it, but those are the margins in this game", said Murty, who revealed defender David Bates has had a scan on the ankle injury he picked up when Rogic made it 1-1.

Scott Brown has told Celtic's official website that he thought that Scott Bain was fantastic during the Hoops' stunning win over Rangers at Ibrox that saw Brendan Rodgers' men practically shut the door on the Gers in the title race.

"There was a lot of noise before the game, but that's natural - they've been on a good run and at home, thinking they could get the victory".

The win took the visitors nine points clear of the Gers at the top of the table with a game in hand.

Both those strikes were quickly cancelled out by Tom Rogic and Moussa Dembele and despite Jozo Simunovic's red card just before the hour mark, Celtic still found the victor thanks to substitute Odsonne Edouard.

Hoops defender Jozo Simunovic was shown a straight red by referee Willie Collum for using an arm to brush off Gers striker Alfredo Morelos in the 56th minute before Edouard, 20, on loan from Paris St Germain and on for James Forrest, curled in the victor in the 69th minute. "We've won here a few times now so even with ten men we still had that belief". I thought they dealt with that final 30-minutes of the game really well and I'm very proud.

'We had to cope with a lot of long balls and direct play. "We made some mistakes in the first half defensively and went behind".

He said: "Yes, they talked all week while we sat down, we did our talking on the park".

"In that period when we had to defend we did, and attacking we looked like we could score one or two goals".

I thought his performance showed his nerve, his calmness and his agility, particularly when he makes the save and gets up again for the second one when it comes off the post.
