  • McDonald’s Is Releasing A Podcast About The ‘Rick And Morty’ Sauce Riots

The news was announced by McDonald's as part of a somewhat freakish campaign for a dipping cause, with the chain launching a website called We Want The Sauce to not only confirm the re-release of the sauce but also launch a podcast all about the condiment, dubbed The Sauce.

The fast food chain has announced that the sauce will be available at all southeast MI locations starting at lunchtime Monday, February 26.

As we patiently wait for season 4 of Rick and Morty, any news on our favorite dimension hopping grandfather/grandson duo is always welcome. The company has also released a three-episode podcast titled The Sauce, which goes inside the botched previous release of the sauce that left Rick and Morty fans angry.

That's not a problem, Mcdonald's plans to produce again its sauce Szechuan, but by doing things well this time and by delivering all of the signs in quantity suiffsantes.

Many fans were left disappointed on October 7 after the long-awaited return of the savory sauce was so restricted that there simply wasn't enough to go around. As you might recall, the sweet and sour condiment caused a stroke of trouble across the country back in October when locations didn't have enough supply to meet the demand. In a third season episode, lead character Rick Sanchez has a meta moment when he tells his grandson, Morty, that he wants "that "Mulan" McNugget sauce, Morty".

You can bet you'll see similar lines on Monday, but at least this time there will be more chances to grab that sauce. Those packages will be available with any purchase starting Monday, Feb. 26 and will be available until supplies last.

Mcdonald's was first a bit taken lightly by not distributing, just for a day, a few sachets of sauce in some brands.

"Rick and Morty" fans rioted in October after the fast-food chain gave away Szechuan sauce across the United States - and demand far exceeded supply.
