TMZ reports that detectives from the LAPD's Sexual Assault Section interviewed Eggert yesterday at the offices of her attorney Lisa Bloom. We're told 2 detectives spent 2 hours as Eggert detailed her allegations. that Baio molested her when she was 14, 15 and 16 while they filmed "Charles In Charge" - something Baio strongly denies. Alexander Polinsky, who starred on "Charles in Charge" alongside Scott, opened up about both physical and mental abuse he got from Scott through a statement which was read out by co-star and fellow Scott accuser Nicole Eggert on "The Talk". "We appreciate the Los Angeles police detectives' interest in this case, and we will fully cooperate with their investigation". Bloom confirmed that many had reached Him and Nicole supporting them saying that what Baio did was inappropriate mainly because she was still underage. We provided a list of those names to the police.

No additional information, including the specific allegation, was released by police, but authorities did confirm to THR that detectives had the report.

"She wanted me to be her first so that she will be good for her boyfriend", he said in an interview with "Good Morning America" that took place the day after Eggert's "Today" show interview. "I don't know how anybody can believe what she's saying when her first allegation of having sex when (she was) 17 had been proven to be 100% false". He insists he had a consensual encounter with Eggert when she was 18. He has also said that while they had sex one time, it was after she had turned 18. She also repeated her claim that Baio had sex with her when she was 17.

"We've been demanding since a year ago that Nicole Eggert bring her story to the authorities".

He opted at the time to keep his "mouth shut", assuming she'd stop on her own. "Given this, her other vague claims, which Scott has consistently denied, can not have any merit".

TMZ reported Baio is happy Eggert has gone to police because he believes they will poke holes in her story. Her appearance on Dr. Oz had also been stalled while the producers vetted the allegations; her interview was initially filmed on January 10, but didn't air until after both Eggert and Baio went public with their claims. In a statement, Bloom said that Scott Baio answered to all the questions and acquisitions filed against him.

Eggert on Tuesday evening tweeted, "Calling it a nite". She added that she would appear on Wednesday's The Talk to share further updates.
