  • Corona-Norco Unified School District posted a message alerting parents to threats that had been made against the school

A 14-year-old boy was arrested and weapons including a semi-automatic rifle and throwing knives were seized from his home after an alleged threat to shoot other students at a Pennsylvania high school, authorities said Friday.

A student accused of making threats toward Harrison County High School is in police custody, according to the school district. That's what he said, he didn't like them.

According to a LaRue County Schools news release, the LCHS student made a threatening statement at school on Wednesday, stemming from a conversation about the situation in Marshall County, and that school officials take such statements very seriously.

The investigation into a possible threat directed toward the Benton Junior High School campus has led to the arrest of a juvenile.

At approximately 8:00 a.m. a teacher alerted the School Resource Officer that a public WiFi network, labeled with a bomb threat, was showing up on her laptop as an available network.

That second suspect was 18-year-old Brandon Isles, who now sits in Bourbon County Jail facing charges of terroristic threatening and harassing communications.

Police did not identify either teen amid the ongoing investigation. With the student not being in the building, school officials and law enforcement say they made a decision to place the school on lockdown in case the student arrived.
