As well, he said that Trump doesn't take the situation quite seriously, for he has tweeted on several times to criticize Pyongyang for its missile tests, and he has even boasted in tweets by saying that his nuclear button is bigger than Kim Jong Un's.

Following their meeting, the three presidents attended a press conference and issued a joint statement, calling for an all-Syrian congress, which will see representatives from all sides in Sochi to exchange views on the fate of the country and pave the way for the drafting of a new constitution and elections. Although Lavrov did not mention it, Trump has also.

"This problem [Nagorno-Karabakh] can not be settled in a single document once and for all", the Russian foreign policy chief said.

Under the hard-won 2015 deal with Russian Federation, the US, China, France, Britain, Germany and the EU, Iran agreed to curb its nuclear programme in exchange for lifting a raft of worldwide sanctions.

"Unfortunately, our American colleagues and their allies still want to do business exclusively on the basis of issuing ultimatums and do not want to listen to the views of other centers of world politics", he said when asked about Trump's position on the Iran nuclear deal.

"We will not support what the United States is trying to do, changing the wording of the agreement, incorporating things that will be absolutely unacceptable for Iran", Lavrov was quoted as having told a news conference in Moscow.

Russia's chief diplomat went on to warn that a withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal will have a negative effect on the North Korea crisis.

"It's sad that the United States once again gives a reason to doubt their ability to be reliable contract partners", Lavrov said.

The foreign minister did not mention Trump by name but repeatedly used the word "threats" to describe what he's anxious about.

On Jan. 14, the USA -led global coalition against the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) announced that it would establish a 30,000-strong new border security force with the US -backed SDF. It is the defense industry, the sanctions imposed on the Russian defense sector. Kremlin-aligned former Afghan president Hamid Karzai announced in April 2017 that Norway and Germany have a long history of holding talks with the Taliban, and argued that Western criticism of Russia's Taliban links constitutes a double standard. "They will give it up, but no one will lift the sanctions against Pyongyang".

Lavrov told a press conference that the Japanese decision overshadows relations between Japan and Russian Federation, adding that his country understands that offensive weapons can also be used under the Aegis Ashore system.

The International Olympic Committee in December announced that Russian Federation would not be able to compete as a national team because of what the World Anti-Doping Assn. called a state-sponsored doping scheme. "For years they made concessions without receiving anything in return", Lavrov said.

"When it comes to [Trump] administrations actions, there is a fear of healthy competition", he said.
