Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said yesterday he was "disappointed" by India's refusal to back recognition of Jerusalem as his country's capital but would not let it spoil his landmark visit to the Asian giant.

An 11-year-old Israeli boy who survived the Mumbai terror attacks nearly a decade ago returned for the first time Tuesday to the house where his parents were killed.

Last year Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Israel, becoming the first Indian prime minister to do so.

Moshe, who was scheduled to visit Mumbai at the age of 13, has come to India as he was invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Israel in 2017.

His parents had moved to Mumbai seven years before the attack to work at the Chabad House.

His grandfather Rabbi Rosenberg says Moshe misses his parents and he knows how they died, Indian publication Deccan Chronicle reported.

Moshe Holtzberg was one-year-old when his parents, who ran the Chabad House in Mumbai, were viciously murdered in the 2008 terror attacks in the city. He was then barely two years old. "Part of it is a special area where parents of Moshe will be remembered", he said. After the attack, Moshe's maternal grandparents took him to Afula, a city in Israel for his safety and comfort. She saved the child during the terror attack. Commenting on Baby Mose's visit to Nariman House, Rabbi Israel Kozlovsky, who runs the Chabad House, said, "This visit to Nariman House for him is very, very emotional".

Kozolovasky said Moshe also wanted to see the Gateway of India during his visit. Moshe has come to India this time and will be present on January 17 with the Israeli PM in Mumbai.
