  • Nintendo Switch Is (Allegedly) Hacked For Good

Nintendo announced Thursday morning (Jan. 4) that the Switch has sole more than 4.8 million units in 10 months, making it the fastest-selling home console of all time in the U.S. The PS2 now has the world record for console sales, selling an impressive 155 million units during its lifetime. The Wii U, after its fifth year released, has only sold 3,301,555 units.

With the lackluster performance of the Wii U, we are ecstatic and proud of Nintendo for bringing themselves back up with the success of the Switch.

What are your thoughts on this latest piece of sales data? The image that you can see at the top of the news shows a magazine with images of this weird looking DS console along with Nintendo Switch. Sound off down below, in the comments section.

Nintendo launched the Switch back in March, and in just ten short months, the console has shifted over 4.8 million units in the United States, the company has revealed. Not only did we get two of the finest entries in their respective franchises with Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey, but pitch-perfect sequels like Splatoon 2 and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 managed to ensnare far wider audiences that were available on the doomed Wii U. Nintendo Switch was the biggest leap by Nintendo which not only transformed the outlook of a portable gaming console but merged the feature of co-op play as well as a widescreen support into a small cute little box.
