Additionally, Curry connected on 15 of his 16 attempts from the free throw line, grabbed six rebounds, dished out three assists, and accrued three steals.

Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin, left, gets hit as he drives to the basket against Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry during the first half of an NBA basketball game in Los Angeles, Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018.

Leading by 9 at halftime, the Warriors out-scored the Clippers 39-21 in the third quarter, expanding the lead to as many as 30 points. The Clippers later said he would not return.

With 2:11 remaining in the opening quarter, Griffin drove the baseline and was challenged at the rim by Warriors backup center JaVale McGee, who inadvertently elbowed the Clippers star in the forehead. He was down on the court for several minutes, but was able to walk to the locker room under his own power.

Griffin, a 5-time All-Star, has already missed 14 games this season with a sprained knee ligament. Despite the plethora of ailments listed on the Warriors' injury report, it appears that Durant will be the only one not to suit up.
