Kaepernick wrote. "Let's make it happen!"

Despite the circumstances, the team could go for $2.5 billion to $2.8 billion, according to a source who has been involved in similar sales.

Sean "Diddy" Combs, aka Puff Daddy, aka Puffy, has announced his desire to purchase the Carolina Panthers football team. and he has some big name help.

Richardson said he will wait until the end of this season to begin the sale process or entertain any inquiries.

Colin Kaepernick says he is interested in joining an ownership group and purchasing the Carolina Panthers. "The North Carolina Panthers are up for sale", Diddy announced in a Sunday night Instagram video.

Diddy, 48, also posted a series of tweets confirming his interest in becoming the first majority African American NFL owner.

He also said that he "will immediately address the Colin Kaepernick situation and put him in the running for next year's starting quarterback". "It's just competition, baby, it's just competition".

Prior to joining the owner's office, Becker was the team's director of entertainment from 2012-14.

Diddy has an estimated net worth of $820 million. The last team sold was the Buffalo Bills for $1.4 billion to Terry Pegula in 2014, Forbes Magazine reported past year.
