The Jacksonville Jaguars benched Leonard Fournette for Week 9 for a violation of a team rule.

The end of the first half was marred by a fracas that began when the tempers of Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey and Cincinnati receiver A.J. Green boiled over.

Bortles completed 24 of 38 passes for 259 yards with a touchdown and no turnovers. It was obvious Ramsey was yacking Green's ear off all game and perhaps the officials just got exhausted of it.

The Jaguars announced that Chris Ivory, who had 47 yards on 17 carries against the Colts, will start in Fournette's place. It's been reported that Fournette missed the team picture, a workout and a treatment session for his ankle during the bye week but the Jaguars have said they'll have no further comment on the situation. So if Fournette's absence contributes to a loss on Sunday at home against the Bengals, it could have long-lasting implications on their playoff prospects.

Cole made a leaping, one-handed grab for a gain of 28 yards on third-and-12 from the Bengals' 45 to put the Jaguars in the red zone. Dalton threw two TD passes and four interceptions during the 0-3 start but owns nine TD passes and four picks in the last four games, with three of those recent TD passes going to favorite target A.J. Green.

The Jaguars lead the Bengals 13-7 at halftime. The Jaguars had outgained the Bengals, 217-37 when Lee scored.
