Sony began its Paris Games Week conference with the world reveal of Ghost of Tsushima, a new IP from inFamous developer Sucker Punch. The brutal war campaign saw Japan's Tsushima Island initially lose the first invasion from Kublai Khan's forces, but defeating the second invasion later on.

We've been wondering what Sucker Punch was up to for a while now, what with the company being quiet since the release of Infamous: First Light. We really want you to have that choice of, 'Hey, that cool bamboo forest over there, I really want to check it out.' There's no waypoint.

In Ghost of Tsushima, players assume the role of Jin, who is one of the last surviving samurais and must "rise from the ashes to fight back".

Sony's official synopsis says that Ghost of Tsushima is set in 1274 in Japan, following the plight of samurai warriors sworn to defend the country.

Ghost of Tsushima takes place during Japan's feudal period. The developer, which is known for creating the Sly Cooper and inFamous franchises, has plenty of fans who are eager to see what the studio is working on next. In Ghost of Tsushima, you play as a battered samurai, fighting back against overwhelming odds.

OnRush: a brand new arcade racing game from Codemasters was revealed and received a Summer 2018 release window right of the bat.

If you watched Sony's conference today at Paris Games Week, then you probably found yourself wondering when the new exclusive trailers were shown: "What is this attractive Asian-themed trailer about?"

In a way, it's just nice to know that Sucker Punch has a new project in the works.
