Destiny 2 Patch Fixes Raid Key Bug

  • The Destiny 2 servers are going down today for maintenance ahead of patch

Fair to say that the emote was quickly pulled from the in-game store, and players won't be able to get up to some Python-esque high jinks.

But that's not the end of new content coming to the raid, as Bungie has now confirmed new optional challenges will be added beginning October 31.

Excited to get playing Destiny 2 on PC?

To access the Trials of the Nine, players must have completed the Destiny 2 campaign and completed the Call to Arms milestone.

The current Nightfall strike has also had problems, and last night the whole of Destiny 2 was taken offline to fix a problem with disappearing raid keys.

Destiny 2's Trials of the Nine Crucible event typically starts at 6pm United Kingdom time every Friday. In a blog post yesterday, Bungie announced they would be postponing Trials of the Nine until the issue can be resolved.

And Bungie has a lot planned for the PC version of the game following its release. The developer has since responded saying that they can't detect coil glitching, but they plan on releasing the top three finishers for the raid and "you can make your own decision as to who should be celebrated". Finally, for the third week, we'll be getting the Raid in Prestige Mode, followed by Raid Guided Games, for those that need more assistance. This will start on October 31 and will continue in the next few weeks.

You can find out more about Destiny 2's 1.0.5 Hotfix here.

"We won't be giving you any hints on how to complete these challenges, but we will let you know when you fail with an in-game message".
