The singer will be back in the red chair for the show's 14th season, after sitting out this current season. The clip is brief but it already manages to show off the chemistry between Kelly and her fellow coaches, especially Alicia herself. Only when she opened the door, Clarkson found Shelton standing there and then Levine before finally revealing Keys, who said she's back to defend her crown. Entertainment Weekly notes that in season 12, Keys had coached contestant Chris Blue, who became the show's victor.

Season thirteen of "The Voice" is now airing on NBC.

"We are thrilled to welcome back Alicia's positive energy, competitive spirit and sheer talent", says Paul Telegdy, NBC Entertainment President of Alternative and Reality Group.

Unfortunately, this means the "Hollaback" coaches will not be a thing on the next season of "The Voice". Want more news? Like our Voice Facebook page.

Last year Keys released her sixth studio album "Here", on RCA Records.

The reality show is now in its 13th season, with Jennifer Hudson and Miley Cyrus coaching alongside Levine and Shelton.

Alicia left The Voice following her season 12 victory to focus more on her own musical career. Clarkson's participation was confirmed in May 2017 when NBC also announced that Hudson will be joining Season 13.

Meanwhile, Shelton will be coaching without Stefani next season, which will air in February 2018.
