"We have lost three lives so far this morning in Harford County", Gahler said, adding that it wasn't a random shooting.

Radee Labeeb Prince, 37, is believed to have shot five people at Advanced Granite Solutions at the Emmorton Business Park in Edgewood, roughly 30 miles northeast of Baltimore, Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler told reporters in a news conference.

He said one time, Prince came to see him, and cursed and yelled at him.

The man being sought in connection with a mass shooting at a Harford County business park was sacked from another job earlier this year after attacking another employee, according to a restraining order filed against him earlier this year.

"We do not believe there's an immediate threat to the community - we do believe that this was targeted, with the qualifier that there is an armed and risky suspect out there", Gahler said.

All five of those who were shot are employees of the Advanced Granite Solutions where the shooting occurred, officials said. Investigators believe Prince drove away in a black 2000 Acadia, with DE license plate PC064273.

The police chief wouldn't elaborate the past history the victim and Prince had, other than to say: "This individual knew the people he wanted to shoot", Tracy said.

The statement did not give details about the incident and a police spokesman could not be reached for comment.

A former co-worker sought a restraining order against Prince in February, saying he had punched another employee and threatened employees.

Police say the suspect is 37-year-old Radee Labeeb Prince and may be found driving a 2008 Black Chevy Acadia with a DE tag, PC064273. They identified the man as 37-year-old Radee Labeeb Prince.

The two surviving victims are in critical condition at Baltimore's Shock Trauma Center, the hospital tweeted at noon Wednesday. But she said they always ended up paying their rent and the company never had to schedule an eviction. Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, speaking during a break from a meeting of a state board, said the survivors had gunshot wounds to the head.

A Maryland sheriff says three people have been killed and two were wounded during a shooting at an office park in the northeastern part of the state.

Prince was sacked from another job earlier this year after he attacked a co-worker, according to The Baltimore Sun.

A gunman shot five of his co-workers at a U.S. office park in the state of Maryland on Wednesday, killing three of them and setting off a manhunt, authorities said.

Nearby schools have been locked down as a precaution.

A Maryland property manager said Prince often paid his rent late but was always polite and cooperative.

The sheriff said authorities checked an Elkton home after the shooting, but Prince was not there.
