  • After Stokes's Bristol brawl Root and Broad have pulled out of Buttler's stag do in Amsterdam

Stokes, the England Test vice-captain, and his team-mate Alex Hales were suspended indefinitely by the European Central Bank on Thursday, after video footage emerged via The Sun newspaper that allegedly showed Stokes throwing punches in a fight outside a nightclub in Bristol.

Stokes had been dropped from England's squad for Ashes 2017-18 after his street brawl video went viral and will not be available for selection until further notice.

Stokes' "disgusting" impressions come after his arrest following a brawl outside a Bristol nightclub in the early hours of Monday.

As part of the ECB's internal disciplinary process, Stokes and Hales have been suspended on full pay pending further investigation, both by the European Central Bank and the police, with Strauss referring the matter to the Cricket Discipline Commission, chaired by Tim O'Gorman.

Katie Price has blasted cricket star Ben Stokes after a video emerged of him "mocking" her disabled son Harvey.

However, Greene King IPA remains the official beer of The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

That decision was prompted by the Sun newspaper publishing footage of the late night incident that came after Sunday's one-day global against West Indies in Bristol and saw Stokes arrested before being released under investigation. A police investigation is unlikely to be concluded before England leave for Australia on October 28, meaning the incident could hang over Stokes for the whole tour.

But no timeframe has been given on their potential availability, with England due to play their first Test against Australia in Brisbane on 23 November. His team-mate Alex Hales was also present, and both have been suspended for the final two ODIs of the series.

"It's right up - it's probably in the top two (in my career), I would have thought", said Bayliss.

There is an internal disciplinary probe underway regarding three of the cricketers also out drinking in Bristol late on Sunday, albeit not present at the time of the incident. Stokes told The Times in an interview published on Saturday he enjoyed a couple of beers after stumps. "I don't have to drink Diet Cokes with dinner".
