It looks like Meghan Markle's ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, found a creative inspiration from her romance with Prince Harry.

Social media reactions to the 20-minute meeting soon honed in on the unusual way Harry held his right hand while posing for photos.

The couple began quietly dating after meeting in May, 2016 as the prince promoted his worldwide Paralympic-style sporting competition in host city Toronto, Canada, where Meghan films her TV legal drama Suits.

They also picked up a few gifts before saying their final goodbyes.

The two smiled and clapped as they watched the tennis match between Australia and New Zealand, even stopping to chat with the fans around them in between sets, according to People.

The couple had kept their distance from each other at the high profile opening ceremony at the weekend.

On Friday, Meghan showed her support for Harry at the opening ceremony, their first public appearance together.

Meghan Markle - best known for her role in the hit US TV series Suits - is an American actress, humanitarian campaigner and former lifestyle blogger.

Harry, who was known as Capt. Wales during his 10 years in the British Army, previously hosted the games in London and Orlando.

Best known as paralegal Rachel Zane in the US Network legal drama, "Suits", Markle has appeared on "General Hospital", "CSI: Miami", "Without A Trace" and "Castle".

Her mother Danielle Gommers told People, "Every time she sees Prince Harry on the television or in a magazine she says 'It's my friend Prince Harry'".
