  • Super Mario Run is getting a major update next week

Rescuing Daisy in Remix 10 mode unlocks her as a playable character in all of Super Mario Run's other gameplay modes.

Princess Daisy will likewise convey some better approaches to play Toad Rally. Finishing stages in Remix 10 will also provide the player with the opportunity to rescue Princess Daisy, who will later join the game as a playable character.

The new world offers nine more levels that can only be unlocked after completing Worlds 1-6.

Remix 10 has no Game Over screen and even if you fail to complete a level, you'll just proceed to the next one without any penalty.

While this update will be Super Mario Run's biggest yet, it's not the app's first. Each time you play you'll get a different selection of sections. The new levels contain new enemies. There will, of course, also be new in-game items to decorate your Mushroom Kingdom. While it wasn't a bad game, the $9.99 paywall was a too much for mobile gamers used to free-to-play titles with in-app purchases. While you patiently wait for next week's update, head over to our Super Mario Run wiki guide for loads of tips, tricks and a detailed walkthrough. If you do, your character will be wearing headphones.

Finally, you'll finally be able to listen to your own music while playing Super Mario Run when this update hits.

Nintendo is set to release a major update on 29 September that brings a number of key additions to the table reports Engadget.

The update will drop on September 29th, and starting that day, the $9.99 full game download will go on sale for half off for two weeks - so if you haven't gotten it yet, wait until then.

A new #SuperMarioRun update arrives 29/09, including a new world, new mode, new playable character, and more!

"The Super Mario Run" update will roll out on September 29.
