  • Tom Cruise Injured in 'Mission Impossible' Stunt

Tom Cruise injured himself in London today when a high-octane stunt went wrong and saw him crashing into the side of a building while filming "Mission: Impossible 6".

The 55-year-old actor is well known for performing many of his own stunts. He managed to get himself onto the building but then limps away. Cruise was ultimately able to return to the line and make his way back to the original building.

In addition to the rooftop leaping scenes, Cruise has also been filming risky stunts in Paris, reports The Telegraph, including one in which he slams a motorcycle into a vehicle before flipping through the air. When I started producing 'Mission: "Impossible, ' I started developing different action around what I could physically train to do".

Aside from Mission Impossible, Tom Cruise is also set to start working on a sequel to the hit movie Top Gun - 1986! "It is absolutely unbelievable-he's been training for a year", David told told Collider. "It's gonna be mind-blowing". Ellison explained that it comes from "the best place" and is all about entertaining the audience. "But Tom doesn't like doing it that way". "And the tension, because the stunt is real, actually puts the audience where Ethan Hunt is where they are in the movie".

"I do everything I can do to entertain the audience", he said at the time.

The extent of the star's injuries are unknown, as his representatives could not immediately be reached by the Daily News.
