Another Pixel 2 leak shows the phone's large front bezels

  • Not on the list is the headphone jack as well. Just like Apple and HTC Google has made plans to ditch the 3.5mm jack offering instead an USB Type-C port for all purposes

The Pixel and Pixel XL are among the best flagship smartphones that you can buy today.

HTC, one of the companies which manufactures the Pixel phones for Google, is going to make "only iterative design changes" as suggested by the California-headquartered company. Apart from this, the latest report adds that these smartphones will not have thin bezels.

In Canada, the 5-inch Google Pixel in Very Silver or Quite Black is now $774 for the 32GB version or $904 for the 128GB model, reduced from $899 and $1,028, respectively.

We got our first peek at the upcoming Pixel 2 smartphone just few days ago, and it was clear that Google wouldn't be adopting some of the increasingly common features found among high-end smartphones with its smaller flagship this year. The device is nearly identical to the current Pixel, indicating Google isn't going all-out in an effort to stave off Apple's impending iPhone overhaul.

Various rumors and leaks about Google Pixel 2 have left little to the imagination. Both phone will go on sale in mid-autumn of the current year, though complete with Android OS 8. According to DxOMark, the Pixel had the highest score for any smartphone camera until the arrival of HTC U11. The larger device will be manufactured by LG. The new generation Google Pixel 2 smartphone looks similar to the predecessor.

You can see just how curved the glass is in this image. There is also a two-tone LED flash next to the single camera. Last year's Pixel phones were also announced in October, right before the holiday shopping season. The most interesting and wallet-friendly one is for the Pixel and Pixel XL, which are being sold at as much as $200 off, and you get a Daydream VR headset thrown in the mix.
