  • Fox News host Eric Bolling has an exclusive interview with President Donald Trump on Fox News

A spokesperson for Fox News said Cashin In', which was taped Friday as usual, was pulled from airing once the media outlet "was made aware of the allegations" through the Huffington Post story.

Fox News has suspended Eric Bolling, the co-host of its nightly programme The Specialists, while it investigates allegations he sent a lewd photo to co-workers.

Bolling co-hosts The Fox News Specialists and formerly co-hosted Fox News' The Five until it moved to prime time earlier this year.

Fox News has suspended longtime host Eric Bolling following reports that he sent photos of male genitals to multiple female colleagues. And in April, the network parted ways with its star anchor Bill O'Reilly following a flood of sexual harassment accusations that triggered a crash in advertising sales.

Bolling, through his lawyer Michael Bowe, has denied any wrongdoing.

On Sunday, Heldman posted once again to Facebook, explaining that she released statements concerning her time at Fox "to help another woman come forward".

The Huffington Post cited more than a dozen anonymous sources when it first reported on Friday that Bolling had sent the messages several years ago.

He joined Fox News in 2008 after working as a commodities trader, according to his bio on the network's website.

'We intend to fully cooperate with the investigation so that it can be concluded and Eric can return to work as quickly as possible'. Carlson subsequently left the network. And looming above them all, the now-dead Roger Ailes, who was sacked from his position as CEO of Fox News a little more than a year ago over various harassment charges, an ouster that seems to have kicked off an endless cascade of revelations about the sexual culture at the company. She also detailed a weird exchange she allegedly once had with him in his office. O'Reilly consistently denied the allegations, but was eventually fired from the network. Back in June, Fox News president of programming Suzanne Scott resigned Bolling to a long-term contract, noting the host had become "a staple of the Fox News brand".
