  • WhatsApp Growth Year To Year is Mind boggling

We checked with them, and Whatsapp has declined to disclose its monthly and daily active users for India.

Surprising thing is that 250 million people are using WhatsApp Status on daily basis.

According to the company, WhatsApp now services over 1.3 billion active monthly users and its servers see 55 billion messages sent every day in 60 languages.

Whatsapp's numbers reveal that most of its users use the service every day.

According to the company the app is used in more than 60 languages. Facebook shares rose to an all time-high after the company announced its results.

Facebook last month said it had reached 2 billion monthly users, and yesterday noted that as of June it had 1.32 billion daily users. The app's video-calling and voice-calling feature are becoming popular with users.

A new scam however is targeting users who may not be aware of the change and asking users to pay 99p to continue their subscription. The app was now expected to roll out services, which could allow businesses like banks, airlines, etc to interact directly with the customers on the messaging platform.

Facebook owned WhatsApp is now enjoying the success of tremendous growth in their users base globally.

WhatsApp rolled out the Snapchat like status feature a few months ago and even added a status tab only next to the home tab. Even though Status faced some criticism from users, and WhatsApp was forced to bring back the original text-based Status feature, the new Status has over 250 million daily users now. The company further revealed that it in an average 55 billion messages are sent per day. This was copied from Snapchat that in total has 166 million daily active users for app.
