ANT-MAN AND THE WASP is now filming and is set for a June 29 release date next year.

Marvel Studios' last day on Comic-con concluded with another surprise for its fans.

Meanwhile, Fishburne will be playing the role of Bill Foster aka Goliath. But considering how obscure Ant-Man was to the average moviegoer before his film, it's worth diving into exactly who each of these actors will be portraying in Ant-Man & the Wasp.

The unbelievable new poster was painted by the concept artist Andy Park (best known for his work on the Tomb Raider comic book series). In the comic books, van Dyne is the original Wasp, while in the first Ant-Man movie she was actually considered to be deceased after an act of heroism pulled her into the subatomic realm.

The biggest of course is the news that Michelle Pfeiffer, formerly Catwoman of the DCEU, joins the sequel as Janet Van Dyne.

The announcement was made Saturday, July 22 at San Diego Comic-Con during Marvel Studios' Hall H panel. As of now, the only confirmed information is that the film takes place after the events of "Captain America: Civil War".

Pfeiffer will play mother to Evangeline Lilly's Hope Van Dyne, who, at the end of Ant-Man was given her mother's Wasp suit as a gift. One gag shows him in his Giant-Man proportions peaking out from behind a building on a city street.

As previously reported, rapper T.I. will be returning to the sequel as Dave, an associate of Paul Rudd's reformed cat burglar-turned superhero, as will scene-stealer Michael Pena as the motor-mouthed Luis. Joining with Hank as Ant-Man, they're able to avenge her father and eventually they fall in love.
