•, Inc. (AMZN) Testing A Messaging App Called Anytime

Anytime by Amazon seems to be an all-in-one feature rich service that could even rival social networks. The claim comes from AFTV News, which got its hands on slides that describe the proposed service, now called "Anytime", that are being used by the company to survey customers on which features they find most important in a messaging app.

As if the likes of Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Snapchat, Wechat and such aren't enough, we could soon be tempted with another messaging app from Amazon. It also has the ability to keep chats private and encrypt important information like bank account details.

Rumoured to be called Anytime, the app will allow users to chat without the need for a phone number. The e-commerce giant is working on a messaging app, to give its users features which the social media platforms offer its users. Before you debate on whether another messaging app is needed or not. Chime was loved by many and many people switched to Chime, due to new features leaving Skype behind. The survey denotes that the app might be highly customizable with options to add filters and special effects to photos and videos along with changing the colour and background of the conversations.

Some reports are claiming that Amazon wants to make Anytime the one and only app when it comes to communication.

If at all Amazon decides to launch it in India, then I am sure it is going to have UPI integrated into its system.

In May Amazon's Echo allowed users to place and receive calls and messages from one Alexa-enabled device to another using voice commands. There are countless other companies that have carved niches for themselves in the mobile messaging arena. According to the image shared, here is what the Amazon's new messaging app- Anytime could be like. If that tech giant can't make a dent, it's even less clear how Amazon thinks it can. The idea of this app is to let users shop from Amazon, so privacy will be a major concern.
