Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is reportedly after a new striker, with the club now in pole position to bring Gabon forward Aubameyang, having missed out on Romelu Lukaku to rivals Manchester United, and with a deal for Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata proving hard to secure, as reported by the Mirror.

Liverpool and Chelsea have just 10 days in which to complete a potential deal if either wants to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer.

Liverpool are claimed to be in pole position due to Jurgen Klopp relationship with the player, but the club's American owners are believed to be reluctant to meet the club's £65m valuation, or the players £180,000-a-week wage demands.

Valued at around £65million, Aubameyang has been linked on and off with Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester City and United this summer, though most recent speculation suggested he was edging closer to a move to Chelsea.

Star striker Diego Costa is expected to leave the club with Loic Remy and Michy Batshuayi deemed not good enough by the Italian.

The future of Diego Costa also still remains uncertain with the Spanish worldwide reportedly favoring a return to former club Atletico Madrid.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with a move for the 27-year-old, but pulled out after failing to agree personal terms. Who will he sign for?
